Juli was born and raised in Southern California! She participated in two years of acting classes at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA. This granted her the nomination to audition and eventually receive the role of Belinda Cratchit in their professional production of A Christmas Carol in 2009. Juli moved to southern Indiana with her family in the summer of 2013. Just a few years after moving to the Midwest, she graduated high school, traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland to participate in the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and moved to Anderson, IN to attend college. Prior to arriving at Anderson University, Juli received no formal training except for that of the acting lessons taught to her at SCR in 2008-2009.
From a young age, Juli was constantly surrounded by singing and dancing. While she received no professional lessons before going to college, the house where she was raised was never without music. Her father was a singer-songwriter for much of her life. Her mother was a well-trained gymnast, very in tune with rhythm and an awareness of movement. For a span of 10 years, from 2005-2015, Juli traveled the US with her family, performing music written by her father and choreographed by her mother. Now, she has taken her love of music and performing into her own hands as a professional.
She can't imagine doing anything else.
